ALrite, even since i bought this 19 inch LCD. I been into gaming for 3 days liao.

GRANADO ESPADA !!!! Hardcore gaming in 3 days lead me to lvl 31. Parent have been nagging.... for me to get a job. They think i am loitering around for too long.

I think it's time. I got to gather myself and start applying for more jobs.

A piece of shit

As usual, another boring day for me... still hunting and searching for jobs.
Surfing forums, and going anyway that interest me...
by chance, i went in to SOLS and saw that my transcript is different!

I am awarded degree with distinction! i was overwhelmed with joy. I have been working very hard this past 1 year for my coursework and finally some rewarding result.

However, at the same time..it was quite disappointing... because government jobs always give priority to local universities's graduates first... i din even get the chance for a interview... what type of systems is this... this is getting on my nerves. why cant they be more subjective and give other graduates (! local) a chance as well.. haii, this is damn sickening... arrgghhhhh

So in the end, i conclude... degree in distinction from non-local uni == (piece of shit) if u are eyeing for government job. This is taunting.

An Opportunity wasted

Been a long while since i blogged... where have i been ? lol

This has been a long month.. Job hunting and hoping to find a suitable job for myself...
somehow, this has been getting difficult as the graduates from local universities also graduated in april. Competiting with these guys arent any easier. too many choices for employers to choose and they sure are picky.

Been to several interviews and this is what i conclused: "Are you 2nd upper and above?" omg... there's a large no. of positions for "these" ppl whereas normal degree have only limited vacancies. Yes, very Limited. Is there no other way round for normal degree holder like me? i dont know... realli hope something will work out for me.

I have been waiting reply from a particular company.. Yes, a company that i am realli interested in and i believe i can "grow" with that company...after 2 months of waiting...i got the interview this morning.. but somehow it screwed up... argh....what am i doing? The interviewer was expecting alot from me. "hey, what do you think of the future of IPS?", "have you done any configuring before?", "what's the latest vulnerabilites?", "do u visit any sites to update yourself on security events?", "things you learn in school are the basic and some are obsolete. where else do u keep yourself updated?" etc, etc.

What i am hoping is to get to chance to learn all these stuff during my job. I know i am not well-prepared in term of keeping myself updated with the current IT security events. haiii, i am disappointed myself.. but i must admit, that guy who interviewed me is a very clever chap. He ask intelligent questions to his candidates.

Well, what can i do now? cross my finger and better be well-prepared for the next interview.

Alrite, enough rest.... that's what i tell myself....
today, i got my first interview test....err...perhaps, it's a test instead..

the test was tough, covering all aspect of networks, programming, protocol and security stuff..
the HR told me i gonna wait at least 3 weeks for the result... omg...

this is so long.... i guess meanwhile, i gonna go for more interviews !!!

how come looking for job is more 'stress' than studying ???

New Toy - DS lite

oh ya, during my trip to taipei...

Alot of pple was playing DS lite on the tour bus.

This tempted me to buy one too !!! wahahah

The moment i came back to Singapore, i did a research and immediately rush down to playboxx to purchase my "White Shiny" DS lite to match my MacBook... hohohoh..

white gets dirty easily, so in the end, i bought a skin.

spent a total of $355, wahsei.....heart pain....
